Private Tutoring
Some students learn best in a one to one, live environment. For these students, BrainWorks provides individual SAT & ACT tutoring. BrainWorks Fast-Track SAT prep is redesigned for the new digital SAT introduced in 2024. The transformed SAT is significantly different from the SAT of old. One change causing great excitement is a new total test time of approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes compared to the old time of 4 total hours.
This short but transformative class informs students on best test practices, test strategy, awareness of traps and skills to avoid them. Participants also learn how to decode the difficult reading comprehension sections. Math topics are explained and best practices for raising math scores are revealed. Grammar, a component of the reading score, is broken down into easy to understand rules. Students practice throughout the class with real test questions. The class is fun, engaging and focused on achieving excellent results. Knowledge acquired in this course stays with students well beyond the exam, aiding them in their day to day classroom experiences.
